Online CLE: The Litigation Section provides free online CLE to its members on hot topics and breaking news from some of the finest and most-respected attorneys in Texas.
Discounts and Complimentary Membership at TexasBarCLE Courses: Members of the Litigation Section receive a $25 discount when you register for any of the following TexasBarCLE courses: Advanced Evidence and Discovery, Advanced Civil Trial, Advanced Personal Injury or Litigation Update. In addition to the discount, your registration includes a complimentary membership in the State Bar Litigation Section through June 2018.
Texas Legislature Updates: The Litigation Section actively tracks the Texas Legislature, informs members of legislative initiatives and participates in the development of appropriate legislation.
Texas Legal Legends: Texas Legal Legends memorialize the stories of many legendary Texas lawyers, and uses those stories to enhance the public’s understanding of the historical importance of lawyers and their service to the community.
Scholarships and Grants: We award annual grants to new projects that enhance access to the civil justice system for underserved Texans. We also fund 6 summer internships for law students with Legal Aid providers throughout Texas. Each year 4 scholarships to the Litigation Update Course are awarded to 4 legal aid attorneys.
